Because Radiesse is a calcium-based microsphere filler suspended in a water-based gel, it is natural, and long lasting.

As with Hyaluronic Acid based fillers, there is virtually no risk of allergic reactions, minimum side effects such as occasional transient bruising and swelling. 

Radiesse patients are usually in between ages of 35 and 60 and see up to 80 percent improvement immediately after treatment. Since Radiesse is temporary, treatments must be repeated over the years to maintain the benefit.
